Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation (Big Trout Lake, ON)

Agassiz Drilling was proud to partner with the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation, their Education Authority, Economic Development and Public Works Departments to perform the site and trench drilling and blasting for their brand-new K-12 school.

Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation is located approximately 580 kilometers north of Thunder Bay along the North shore of Big Trout Lake. It is accessible year-round by air but otherwise served only by a winter/ice road. While winter weather conditions often prove to be challenging, Agassiz was able to complete the project on time and under budget.
