Agassiz Drilling (2000) Ltd. is a third-generation surface drilling and blasting company first established in 1958. It then grew into a large construction company that was involved in all aspects of the civil construction industry. In the early 80’s, Bill Corbett became involved in the leadership of the company and returned to specializing in drilling and blasting only. Today, Bill and his two sons manage all aspects of the drilling and blasting operations.
Arising out of the construction, energy and mining sector in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwestern Ontario in the 1950’s and 60’s, Agassiz has become known over the past six decades for it’s ability to design and deliver creative and innovative drilling and blasting solutions. Safety, quality and a strict adherence to deadlines characterize company operations.
